Yoga is a widely known meditation technique which cleanses you from inside out. And when coupled with essential oils, in the form of aromatherapy, the experience of the practicing Yogi can be an exotic one. There is no specific essential oil for Yoga, rather its completely up to you to choose from a variety of options, given what mood you are in now or what mood you want yourself to be steered in.

Each oil triggers a unique sense and level of energy, and therefore, it's your call to pick the best one depending on what your mood, focus, and occasion is presently and where you want to be after the Yoga practice. 

For example, Lavender, Chamomile, Geranium, and other floral oils are calming to the senses, whereas, 

Lemon, Peppermint, Orange, and other citric oils are known for their uplifting properties.
